The 2009 Work Conference of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach) was grandly held in its headquarter on Jan 12 to 13.
At the conference, Sinomach presented twelve advanced unit awards, five individual prizes and two special awards of technology progress to those winners for the year of 2008, among which Luoyang Bearing Research Institute was announced to receive "2008 Technology Innovation Award" based on its stable sales increase, the successful series of reconstruction reform, the groudbreaking of some large scaled industrialized bases and many successively obtained technology achievements.
With the approval of the State Council, China National Machinery Industry Corporation was established in January 1997, originally registered as "China National Machinery & Equipment Corporation (CNMEC). SINOMACH is a large scale, state-owned enterprise group under the leadership of the State Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
SINOMACH has possessed major enterprises in China's machinery industry specialized in large-scale projects contracting, complete sets of equipment providing, projects designing and constructing, machinery and equipment R & D and manufacturing, as well as internal and international trading. Service contracts of SINOMACH cover such diverse fields as industry, agriculture, communications and transportation, energy, building, light industry, automobile, ship-building, mining, metallurgy, and aerospace industries.
